When are termites most common?
Once a colony is established, termites are a year-round problem. However, there is an increase in colony expansion activity during warm weather.
If treatment is done correctly, how long will the termite barrier be effective?
Generally five years, most insectisides are not as efficient as they once were. These days, five years is an approximatel time they will last, but it does vary from chemical to chemical.
I have German cockroaches. If I treat now, when can I expect to see results?
Depending on the treatment choosen you should start to see roaches die from 3 -10 days arter treatment, although treatments such as gas and sprays will see instant results.
How do you catch and remove possums?
We use wire traps which are filled with food to entice to possum to walk in and be trapped after that we release the possum into the wild.
Is a wood pile against the house advisable?
Having exposed wood stacked against your home is not advisable unless it has being raised from the ground, termites can easily access the rest of your home through wood piles stacked against your house.
What happens if termites are found during an inspection?
Firstly the termite activity will be documented and reported on in your Inspection report then advice about dealing with the problem will be given.
